In 2012 I was ready for a change in my daily gym routines that consisted of running, spin classes, yoga & weight lifting. After reading about CrossFit workouts that focused on high intensity movements with heavy weight lifting, I wanted to try it out.

Has certifications with both USAWeightlifting and USAWrestling. As a coach and weightlifter he has coached Youth National qualifiers, and competes regularly posting qualifying totals for the 2017 National Championships, and 2017 Masters World Championships as a 85kg lifter.

In 2012, John’s daughter Kelli recommended he try something called CrossFit.  Soon after, he joined CrossFit Straight Cheetah when the doors opened and has been here throughout the growth of the Straight Cheetah.
