I have always loved intense workouts. At 29 I was getting tired of the usual lifting routine I had at the gym. I decided to try a CrossFit class and I immediately enjoyed how challenging it was. The variety in workouts and training kept me motivated and I loved seeing my body learning to do new things in my 30s. I competed locally for years and enjoyed the challenge and accomplishment. I started coaching and found I enjoyed helping others learn to grow and push themselves mentally and physically too. Competition is no longer my goal, but CrossFit still provides me with a great workout that can be scaled or modified to any of my needs that day and I continue to love coaching in our great community.
